And now for something completely different...

A good friend sent me this link, and it was so hysterical I had to pass it on. Here's the plug:

Who would have guessed that when you remove Garfield from the Garfield comic strips, the result is an even better comic about schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and the empty desperation of modern life? Friends, meet Jon Arbuckle. Let’s laugh and learn with him on a journey deep into the tortured mind of an isolated young everyman as he fights a losing battle against loneliness in a quiet American suburb.

More Mama, or is it Papa?

Many people have said Peter looks like his dad and others still have said he looks more like Mama. And others still have seen different family members in our little guy. So tell us... what do you think?

After it all, we really do think he's quite handsome.

Why The Post-Pause?

You may be wondering why we haven't posted any pictures of Peter for a solid week or so (he's three weeks old today, after all).

Well, the answer is that Peter has grown ugly. I'm sorry. It's true. We're ashamed of him. We mostly keep him covered with a blanket if ever we're forced to take him out in public. Unfortunately for Peter, the general consensus of those unfortunate few who have seen him is that he is the spittin' image of his father. How tragic.

On a happier note, his hair seems to be lightening/reddening a bit and the curls show promise of return. Hopefully this is a sign that he's soon to emerge from the ugly phase. As soon as he starts to look more like his mama, we'll start posting pictures again. I promise.

A Future Bride?

Early Sunday morning our dear friends, the Killingsworths, gave birth to their first child- a precious daughter named Paloma Jean. What's more is that Peter was born on her father's birthday. Anyone smell a potential match?
