Trick or Treat

We didn't actually go trick or treating, but we did go to a party. A crowd favorite.

Lakeside

A week or two before we left Mississippi the Halseys took us to a catfish restaurant on Enid Lake. After dinner we took a walk down to the bank and you see the rest of the events transpire below (and a post for later).
Someday we might get back to pictures of life in Bloomington, but you never know.

Methinks the lady...

Apparently, our basketball goal doubles as a clothes line... for homemade cloth diapers. No, we're not hicks.

Ahem... No, we are not hicks.

I said we're not hicks.

No, we're not hippies, either.

You've been so very, very patient...

I've been waiting and waiting for someone to tell me that no one wants to read about our wall decorations. In fact, I've been waiting for someone to tell me that no one wants to read anything I have to say at all. I've been watching Google Analytics to see if you keep coming back, anticipating more awesome pictures taken by yours truly. And you have. So, because you've been so very patient, here's your reward: Sprinkler pictures!

Snow!

Peter experiencing snow for the first time. We did try to put mittens on Peter but he would not have it. Don't worry, we weren't out very long.

He didn't seem to like it too well.
The maintenance men pushed all the snow from the street into our front yard. So we climbed on top.

Christmas Tea

A couple weeks ago, despite cold and snow, 50 or so women from our church gathered for a Christmas tea. All the babies under a year were coralled for a picture. There are 9 shown and another handful that weren't able to make it.

Funny Faces

Over the course of the last six weeks we've really enjoyed watching Peter grow and change. More and more his little personality is coming out. We've been able to catch several of these moments of character and are going to share some of them over the next several days. Enjoy!

1 week. Life as a glowworm.

Meeting Mama

Post-Partum Mama and First-Time Doula Extraordinaire

Vanessa Abu-Sara was a fantastic help! (unfortunately, Kim Johnson, our Master-Doula, was manning the camera and didn't make it into any of our pictures... what a servant!)

The Eleventh Hour

You'll notice the coat and pillow on the couch and maybe even a bag in the bottom right corner. Yeah, we were walking out the door headed for the hospital.
